Accounting & Financial Reporting

Our clients come from a wide array of industries, each requiring different accounting expertise.  Our professionals have the knowledge and experience to help you find your way through the accounting landscape; answering your accounting questions and helping you decide which accounting service is correct for your business.

You can have confidence in these services because our firm is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and subject to the Statements on Quality Control Standards.  As part of these standards our firm is subject to a firm peer review performed by an independent CPA firm every three years. Please click here to view our most recent completed peer review report.

Compilations

In compiling financial statements for a client, we present information that is the “representation of management” and expresses no opinion or assurance on the statements.  Compilations do not require inquiries of management or analytic procedures. Instead, we rely on our extensive knowledge of accounting principles and a general understanding of your business.

Reviews

Less extensive than an audit, a review consists mainly of analytic procedures applied to the financial statements, inquiries made of your company’s management team and any additional procedures deemed necessary.  Although we express only limited assurance on review engagements, we still believe that the procedures performed and suggestions made provide unequaled benefits to our clients.

Audits

An audit provides the highest level of assurance on whether the financial statements are fairly stated and free of material misstatements.  We perform a detailed and methodical review and examination of financial statements, including the verification of specific information as determined by the auditor or as established by general practice. Our work includes analysis of internal controls, testing of selected transactions, and communication with third parties.
